Urinary Symptoms Assessment Tool (USAT)
The Urinary Symptoms Assessment Tool (USAT) combines a structured urinary symptom diary with validated symptom questionnaires to provide a more comprehensive assessment of lower urinary tract symptoms.
Record your urinary symptoms after each urination. The tool tracks voiding times, daytime frequency, nocturia, urgency episodes, urinary leakage, and symptom severity while automatically calculating urinary symptom scores.
Men who currently have a prostate first complete the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS). USAT then compares the IPSS questionnaire results with the symptoms recorded in the urinary diary to identify areas of agreement or discrepancy between perceived symptoms and actual urinary patterns.
By combining questionnaire responses with real-world symptom tracking, USAT provides a more complete evaluation than either assessment alone and can help support discussions with your healthcare provider.
